Admissions
3 Year Old and 4 Year Old Preschool
2025-2026 Preschool Requirements:
ALL forms below are required at registration along with a copy of birth certificate, current immunizations, current physical, and registration fee.
- The child must be three or four years of age on or before September 15, 2025.
- Child must be fully toilet trained.
- Health form completed by a physician before he/she begins in the fall (can be supplied from physician's office or use the one provided below).
- Current Immunization Record
- Copy of your child's Birth Certificate for verification of age.

Kindergarten - 8th grade
Kindergarten Requirements:
- The child must be five years of age on or before September 15, 2025, for Kindergarten during the 25/26 school year.
- Health form completed by a physician before he/she enters Kindergarten in the fall (can be supplied from physician's office or use the one provided below). LEAD LEVEL TO BE DRAWN AT APPOINTMENT.
- Dental form completed by a dentist (below).
- Vision examination is required (form below).
- Current Immunization Record

Wildcat Wednesday - HOMESCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
To register for our Wildcat Wednesday Homeschool Program use the link. Registration is due by August 1, 2024.

ILSTO Financial Aid
The Iowa Lutheran School Tuition Organization (ILSTO) is a state-funded scholarship program available to families who qualify for financial assistance. The deadline for 2024-2025 school year scholarships is May 1, 2024.

Before and After Care
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM:
Community Lutheran School Child Care and Preschool is licensed by the State of Iowa Department of Human Services. We comply with all of the childcare regulations set forth by the Department of Human Services. A copy of the Child Care Licensing Standards is available upon request.
Community Lutheran School and Preschool proudly participates in Iowa's Quality Rating System (QRS). QRS was developed in Iowa as part of a nation-wide initiative to improve child care quality. Our program has achieved a QRS Level 4 rating.
Child Care is available for registered CLS students Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm when school is in session. Additional hours are available on early dismissal days, delayed start days, and teacher in-service days throughout the year. There is an annual child care registration fee per student.
